Prairie Nursery’s low maintenance No Mow Lawn seed mix is a specially designed blend of six fescue grasses that grow to form a dense sod and thrive in full sun or partial shade. An established No Mow lawn requires little if any watering or fertilizing, and minimizes weed growth through its interlocking root system. No-Mow turf can be mowed once or twice a year, or not at all. No Mow with Annual Rye may be recommended for steep slopes or erosion prone sites.

Rainfall Requirements: Annual precipitation of 25 inches or more, with at least half arriving during the growing season. (No Mow will not survive extended droughts such as the current megadrought in California and other parts of the western states.)
