True to its nickname as the Mile High City, Denver, Colorado, is located more than 5, 000 feet above sea-level. While the air there may be thin, the area is filled with attractions, events and other features to attract those looking at Denver new homes for sale.

Those in Denver houses can also cheer for any of the area's numerous professional sports teams. The city fields the Broncos, Nuggets, Rockies and Avalanche, competing in each of country's four major sports leagues.
